On Nov. 24, Elaine Canning was chosen as Volunteer of the Year by the Delta Chamber of Commerce. Elaine (pictured here at the ceremony with her husband, Dave) has been an active and valued volunteer with the Delta Hospital Auxiliary for 21 years, including six years on the executive. She has also served as Lower Mainland Area Director for the BC Association of Healthcare Auxiliaries. Congratulations, Elaine.
The Campbell River Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to announce a major donation of $422,000, of which $317,000 was used to purchase a new Mammography Machine.
